About Giant Screen Films

Over the past decade, Giant Screen Films (GSF) has established itself as one of the world's leading large-format/IMAX film production and distribution companies. GSF has a reputation for delivering quality films and for effectively distributing these films, and those of other third-party producers, to the network of large-format theaters around the world. The company's mission is to create and distribute films that portray fascinating subjects and events in a manner that inspires children and adults around the world, taking advantage of advanced sight and sound technologies of the large-format medium.

The production company's first film, Michael Jordan to the Max, is a larger-than-life and inspirational portrait of the legendary athlete. The film has played in over 125 large-format theaters worldwide. In 2002, GSF released Pulse: a STOMP Odyssey, which takes audiences on a musical tour across continents and cultures, guided by the internationally acclaimed performers of the blockbuster stage show STOMP. Pulse has enjoyed tremendous critical and industry acclaim, winning the Giant Screen Theater Association's Best Film and Best Sound Award in 2004 and many film festivals. The film has been booked by over 90 theaters worldwide.

In March 2007, GSF released two highly-anticipated large-format film projects, Dinosaurs Alive 3D, and Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs. One year later, in March 2008, GSF released its first of three Earth & Man Series films, Wild Ocean by the directors of Pulse: a STOMP Odyssey.

In addition to its own productions, GSF is currently distributing a number of third party titles, several of which have been highly successful. These include Country Music: the Spirit of America, Majestic White Horses, Mystic India, and Ride Around the World

GSF is currently in development on the second film in the environmental film series titled The Ice Age. The Earth and Man series explores the relationship between man, the environment, and a sustainable future. The Ice Age and Frontier Antarctica will release in 2009 and 2010 respectively.
